This little buggie will not get you the positive looks you might want when you're on the road among futuristic beasts and innovative machines in the next generation of cars; heck, it might even draw some laughter from fellow automobile drivers. It will, however, do one thing at least: it will almost surely make you best friends with the environment. Although the Trabant nT is merely a concept car for now (a car not slated for an official release but in the works to stir imaginations alluding to which way a brand is thinking along the lines of), it is most certainly a car aimed at doing good. It will be equipped with an electric motor geared toward helping global warming and will run on lithium ion batteries which will get you 156 miles of drive on a single charge. This is a huge step up from the Trabant nT's predecessor, the 2-stroke Trabant, which was our modern day chain smoker. Amidst all the talk lately of electric cars, this German concept fits perfectly in that mold is certainly aimed at helping pollution. Can you imagine actually plugging your car in to charge it overnight like you would a cell phone? Pretty cool if you ask me--even if this buggie isn't exactly the "sight to behold."
