Yes, this is a car. No, you do not need to rub your eyes to do a double-take--yes, you really do see what you're seeing. Yes, I would rather walk in sub-zero temperatures to get to where I need to be than to get in this thing. Okay maybe I wouldn't go that far--but I would be very hard pressed to find someone sitting there and admiring the beauty and structure of this robotic looking thing-a-ma-jig. Introducing the Renault Twizy, the 20 (yes, 20) horsepower automobile with the ride of a scooter and comfortable seating for two. It will available only in Europe and will be released officially in 2011. It too, will be electric, as is the trend being seen much more frequently now. I think the Twizy is a cute little concoction but hardly what you would want to pick up your date with. Perhaps this design could ring in the new wave of lawn mowers with passenger seating?
